VÉRONIQUE NYBERG

Véronique Nyberg is a distinguished French perfumer and Vice-President of Fine Fragrance Creation at MANE in Paris. Born in a small village in the French Alps, she developed an early connection to scent through the botanist grandmother who taught her to notice the fragrances of wildflowers, pine forests, and mountain air. This childhood fascination led her to pursue science, eventually earning a doctorate in Organic Chemistry, after which she began her career in the fragrance world as a raw-material quality controller in Grasse before transitioning into creative perfumery with IFF’s training programs. Her scientific discipline, combined with an artistic sensibility informed by visual art, cooking, and cultural diversity, shaped her unique creative approach.

Nyberg’s signature style balances emotional intensity with structural precision, harmonising contrasting elements to evoke atmosphere and personality. She has created or contributed to numerous fragrances for prestigious houses—and at MANE, she leads teams in crafting scents that are expressive, distinctive, and richly layered. Her work reflects a mature blend of technical expertise and artistic imagination, making her one of today’s most respected voices in fine fragrance.
